The annual Pine Forest Neighborhood Yard Sale is always held on the 3rd Saturday of September.
The neighborhood covenants require that all trash and recycle containers be stored so that they are not viewable from the street.
Trash and recycle containers should be placed on the street no earlier than the evening before pickup. Trash and recycle containers should be removed from the street on the same day as pickup.

Tuesday, August 9, 2011 : Dorchester water provider to lock down shut-off taps
Wednesday, August 10, 2011: Water boxes to be locked: Dorchester authority to block shutoff valves
………………………………………..
Letter to the Editor Published Wednesday, August 10, 2011
The Dorchester County Water Authority is at it again.
Currently, if a water pipe bursts in your home, all on the water system have the ability to shut off the main feed at the meter location by removing the cover and closing the valve.
The Dorchester County Water Authority has arbitrarily and unilaterally decided to deny that ability to its customers. It is installing new meters, and is going to install locked covers to protect the meters, which will also deny access to the shutoff valve.
Their attitude is “protect our meters, let homeowners worry about replacing their existing protection.” Their solution? “Call a plumber.”
The authority was formed as a public service commission, and is funded by customer fees. This management has apparently forgotten that it was set up to serve them.
Are there options more favorable? There are several, but the authority apparently doesn’t want to be bothered. This is the easiest for them.
This is not the first time this authority has expressed its contempt for homeowners. It’s about time homeowners did something about it. Do nothing, have a water line break and suffer extra damages due to your inability to quickly shut off the water.
Are we supporting a dictatorship?
