DEER RUN RD BRIDGE CLOSURE

The engineers and contractors have nearly completed the project. The bridge structure is finished, and the approaches have been graded and are ready for paving. While the final landscaping schedule is still being finalized, we expect them to wrap everything up shortly.

Please see below for the process the county is proposing and a notice of a public meeting. Officers of the HOA have toured the bridge, Hazeltine easement, and the Hunters Creek neighborhood, and recognize that with weight restrictions being imposed on the existing bridge and the need for services such as firetrucks, EMS vehicles, school buses and garbage trucks to provide services to the community we have no recourse but to acquiesce to the County’s request to divert traffic from the 60 lot Hunters Creek. The Public Meeting on December 12th should answer all of our questions. We hope to see you there.
